Ogni mosaico è realizzato con la tecnica diretta (spacco a vista) usando pietre naturali (marmo e ciottoli di fiume), ceramiche artistiche e smalti di Murano. A questi materiali preziosi spesso aggiungo oggetti di recupero come viti, bulloni, tappi di sughero.

Each mosaic is made with the direct technique (exposing the cracks) using natural stones (marble and river pebbles), artistic ceramics and Murano enamels. To these precious materials, I often add recycled items, such as screws, bolts, wine corks.

Non utilizzo mai tessere pre-tagliate ma ogni tassello (cubetto o frammento-triangolare o trapezoidale) é ricavato dalla riduzione di lastre di marmo/ceramica in pezzi via via sempre più piccoli che variano da pochi millimetri ad alcuni centimetri.

I never use pre-cut cards but every piece (cube or triangular or trapezoidal fragment) is made from the reduction of marble/ceramic slabs in gradually smaller pieces that vary from a few millimeters to a few centimeters.

Anche quando un singolo prodotto può apparire simile ad un altro ( se decido di ripetere lo stesso disegno o progetto), ogni opera è sempre unica, per manodopera, selezione dei materiali ed “andamento” (flusso e direzione delle tessere).

Even if a single product can appear similar one to each other (since I can decide to repeat the same design / sketch / project), my mosaics are always and definitely unique in terms of manpower, material selection and “andamento” (the flow and direction of the tesserae).
